No curse mark? I still have to hand this sasuke due to his chidori variants which have already shown to be a counter to Yamato's wood release. And sai get's taken care of pretty easily. But even though I feel Sasuke wins this mid diff Yamato should not be underestimated just because of their encounter back in the early part of part 2.

After yamato escapes sasuke's katana he clearly saids he was going easy because of naruto sakura being his comrade before and he makes a remark about getting serious this time. And the fact that yamato knew he was a uchiha but still was confident in going toe to toe with sasuke in terms of CQC but sadly fell victim to a unexpected raiton covered katana which im sure he would had countered if he knew before hand.
But sasuke still takes this based off of feats.
