Sasuke Uchiha Poem

[Dannie]

this pain it seems i cannot endure
i must take a rain check and make a detour
i simply cannot take this anymore
my heart is hurting from the very core

my older brother whom i used to look up to
but things are different so i have to start anew
these uncontrollable feelings that never subside
but now i know i just have to abide

this cursed Uchiha blood running through my veins
and then my own clan up into flames
I went to Orochimaru in search for power
but the leaf said that it wasn't in my desire

this never ending feeling of remorse and sorrow
i cannot continue so i must leave for tomorrow
this curse mark that would give me so much power
now i know that i would reach for the tower

the echoes that scream from across the valley
this is not just the sound of an ordinary rally
i gathered my goodbyes and left for the den
and as i walked away i had an evil grin

but soon came one guy standing in my way
i already knew what he needed to say
his eyes glistened with everlasting hope
but in my eyes it just seemed like, so..

i soon turned around and met his gaze
but it seems that he wasn't quite amazed
his words that reached on deaf ears
but in my eyes their were no signs of any tears​

Well I consider it short because it didn't take me that long to read the whole poem. Though, that doesn't necessarily mean it's shit or anything since the depth of one's work is independent of the word count.
