Sasuke is currently looking for all the dark secrets of the hidden leaf village and other questions that he wants answered. It seems now that the Uchiha is playing on the neutral side of things now, instead of blindly seeking revenge on Konoha. So two things are gonna happen; He will find out some deep dark conspiracy about the village hidden in the leaves, or that Konoha is some absolute good and that what happened in the past was necessary. Whatever happens will change him, and my main point is if Sasuke has a change of heart; will he be openly accepted back in the village? Or just locked away 5ever? 5EVAR

I don't know why people keep pointing out the crimes. I mean he can be forgiven he was manipulated by other villains. He did finish off Orochimaru, although he brought him back now. He killed Deidara and Danzo which were villains. The only serious thing he did was capture Bee and infiltrate the summit. He didn't want to fight all the Kages just Danzo, but Zetsu spoiled his location that led him to be an international criminal.

Danzo wasn't officially the Hokage. He was going to be Hokage only because they needed someone to take Tsunade's place, since she was incapacitated. Besides Danzo wanted to control the nine-tails for his own selfish reasons, while he commands the village. Sasuke actually did everyone and himself a favor.

It was a loyalty to his family that caused him to stab a fourteen year old boy who considered him family in the chest with the chidori twice, abandon those who tried to mend his broken heart, and effectively become a terrorist.
