Sasuke got pre sage mode experience while training with orichimaru for 3 year to master his curse mark.Orichimaru was also absorb into Sasuke body which allow him to use snake mode effectively against Itachi
dude seriously whats wrong with you? sasuke had a curse mark which was derived from juugo's transformation and orochimaru's chakra it wasnt sage mode.
@bold what the hell is snake mode? orochimaru didnt have sage mode so sasuke absorbing him he only got the abilities of the white snake transformation not sage mode.
The fact that Sasuke has been capable of gathering Kirin and manipulating it into a weapon despite it being natural energy and not his affinity tells us that Sasuke doesn't have problems controlling natural energy. Curse Mark is Senjutsu and the user gathers that Senjutsu from the mark set on his body to be capable of entering a transformation by using nature transformation.
Controling curse mark is bit easy than SM. If you see curse mark also involves juggo cells which is helping to ****rol Nature Energy. IF it going to be complete different SM than Sasuke will need time may be Not more He's talented but still SM needs training.. Its not like anyone can learn SM in one chapter until you are Madara.
Also Sasuke represents Elder son Eyes of Sage.
And SM naruto represents younger son body(SM) so it will be good that Sasuke only get his power up through eyes
for controlling all he did was guide it not control it. the cure mark is a impure form. that use's the curse mark to gain abilities. its different when you need to gather and control an outside sources it takes days or months to learn how to do that. you don't gather with the curse mark. so he is already at a hand cap with sage mode.
sasuke has lightning element and it took alot of time for him to use his own lightning attack to manipulate kirin, it wasnt said that it need senjutsu to do that.
@bold prove it. it dont bother with scans about juugo clans because it different, orochimaru extracted enyzmes from juugos body and combine it with his chakra, it wasnt said that the mark gathers natural energy.
Curse Mark is not impure Senjutsu. It's nature transformation. Guiding it or not, it does not matter. All he has to know is know the concepts of Senjutsu to be able to control it as seen when he had absolutely no problems controlling and shaping actual lightning which is in fact nature energy. Madara is someone who had absolutely no training in Senjutsu and was still capable of controlling it, stating it's not difficult. Sasuke, on the other hand, is also someone who has the Sharingan and already witnessed the gathering of Senjutsu and had some minor training in the art of Senjutsu, controlling it won't be much of a problem for him.
Sasuke used his own element or should I say Chakra to manipulate Senjutsu and shaping Nature Energy is Senjutsu. The exact same thing Sasuke did with raw lightning or should I say ''Kirin''.

Kirin is natural energy?
He infuses his chakra with the lightning to control it. That has nothing to do with gathering or handleing natural energy.
I guess Doton Wall is using natural energy as well?
it is impure for the fact that they go crazy by using it or takes a bad effect on the on that use's it. and madara has had a lot more hands on with it plus his butt buddies DNA plays a part. sasuke doesn't have his DNA and you think sasuke is as smart as madara. he will still need to train to use it. sasuke is a novice when it comes to thing like sage mode. it will take time for him to be able to use it.
