Riku Madara was ultimately the reason Sasuke has become adept to his new eye.
Through the fight vs Madara, Sasuke watched everything and analyzed everything Madara did. After being sucked into the Desert SAsuke possibly trained his eye and then awaited to be pulled out of the dimension while Naruto fought Kaguya. This would have given him ample time to test his abilities and hone his skills while locked away from everyone.
Considering Sasuke is a genius and has the same abilities as Madara. Nothing would stop him from copying or mimicking abilities of MAdara since he has the means to do it
