I think that Kishi plans to make Sasuke a SM user too. Otherwise, he wouldv'e used someone else to heal sasuke. Or at least, some other way than giving Sasuke Jugo's flesh and chakra.

The reason he was given Juugo's flesh is because sasuke had a big hole in the middle of his chest, which is too much for karin to heal by letting him suck out her chakra, and there were no other helaers around.

Ignoring that flaw, perhaps he could obtain a sage mode, if he gained interest in that

I really don't think that would happen just because madara would have mentioned it or been part of his accomplishments + the stone in the uchiha basement didnt make it a requirement to gain ultimate power also the bases of gaining sage power is WILL not visual, uchiha base power has been their eyes and not body.

Well, seeing that Oro developed his cursed seal from Juugo, anyone who has the mark is automatically a carrier of Juugo's DNA. Sasuke already had it before that flesh exchange healing. :shrug:

The cure mark was derived from Jugo, true. But it was not His chakra that was placed inside, it was orochimaru's. In order to obtain cells that automatically absorb nature chakra, you need Jugo cells.
Jugo was able to heal him because Sasuke once had the cm, which was derived from him. (He didn't at that time) It was not the same mark Jugo had, or whatever.

i like this thought, maybe sasuke and oro are headed to snake forrest, kabuto said oro wanted to learn the sage mode but couldnt and im sure sasuke can so maybe oro is planning on sasuke gaining that little power up(or stealing sasukes body to gain the power himself). but personally I would picture sasuke using it as a chakra reserve, since he has ems he can spam it without really having to move like itachi, and at the same time bring in the natural energy as a trump card or just to maintain his chakra levels

Totally agree. Its just, a back up for what he already has going on. It enhances his capabilities, and provides more chakra.
