Because he doesn't know the first thing about bringing people together? All he has done since we first met him is push people away (with a small exception during the middle of Part 1) and fail to acknowledge the worth of others.
I still don't see how that means Sasuke is contradictory. All it means is that he wants to fix the world, but believes being alone is the first step and ideal way to do so.

I think it's quite clear that revival of his clan is no longer his ambition, he wants to change the world.

How is that NOT being contradictory then? A person wants to bring the world together and yet believes he is better alone? Those two things are polar opposites of one another. Thus, he is contradictory.

I mean, I used to actually LIKE Sasuke before he flip-flopped so many times. Now his thoughts are so screwed up and he's just walking the same path as Madara and Obito.

It's a paradox, not a contradiction. Sasuke wants to be alone because multiple leaders cause division, and having ties clouds your judgment. Sasuke needs to be alone for the sake of peace.

Not while Naruto is alive. For two reasons.

You do realize that a paradox and a contradiction are the same thing right? They are synonyms to one another. Having ties also grounds you and gives you different perspectives. Sasuke merely thinks that he knows what's best for the world when he doesn't even know what's best for himself.
