Plus it was Hagoromo's positive actions along with his power that made others call him the Messiah, Shippuden Sasuke was more the anti-Christ while Naruto was the Messiah. In time Naruto was able to show Sasuke the light and Sasuke became a better person but Naruto is still more righteous as he finds other alternative to killing.
