Remember Kishimoto has never revealed Sasuke's true goal.

Hagoromo asked the same question to Naruto to Sasuke and told him to be honest:

Proof was at the end, Hagoromo ask if that is his final answer (at the same time as Naruto)

And one last time Kakashi asked whats his true goal and Sasuke didn't say anything

And last but not least Sasuke's attitude and ideology was completely off with Naruto and Team 7.

So do you guys think, does these signs of Sasuke indicate this to be t?

I doubt he'll be a villain, just the final person Naruto fights.

He doesn't have to be evil. But he can have a different opinion on how to run things and will do anything in his power to make it work even no matter what.

@Everyone else. Evil was the worst term to used. I apologize

Or perhaps he didn't agree with it, so he gave Sasuke his power to try to end the curse of hatred, started by neglecting Indra in the first place.

Being on opposing ends doesn't necessarily make on side heroic and the other villainous, but I do hope Sasuke is the final villain, colloquially speaking.

Yeah I can see that happening

But why give sasuke the power then? that would make the sage a co- conspirator if sasuke does become evil

Because he didn't give it to Indra last time, and the world still almost ended. Giving him the power or not would have the same outcome, but this way he might change his mind. Besides the fact that Naruto could not have defeated Kaguya by himself.

Yea there was more. Even the WJS magazine summarize that Sasuke has an "intention" but didn't feel like going full deep research to something kinda obvious lol. Good look out anyway.

Okay so the sage who wants peace hears Sasuke's "true goal" and gives him a power up, if Sasuke's intentions were indeed bad why would he make Sasuke stronger? Logic :coffee:

He basically means he will become hokage and change the system, because in the flashback he cuts off only Naruto

That mean the sage trusts sasuke's decision in saving the world, meaning it cant be evil

Again in whos perspective would it be bad to? You can have a different world view. Me using the word villain, which I already apologize for using, wasn't the best term to use. Naruto and Sasuke have different views. Sasuke ideology seems that his should be absolute. His ideas vs Naruto will be the final "conflicting" for the series.

What you on about? Hagoromo accepted both Naruto's and Sasuke's goal, all we know is Sasuke's true intention is something to do with changing the system, if his goal was bad Hagoromo wouldn't obviously make a villain stronger.
