I expected something better. The entire point of both those characters is "wow, look how great Goku/Yugi is by comparison". Sasuke at least had a certain amount of superiority at times instead of constantly being in second place.

you say that as if Sasuke never had moments where he had envied Naruto's abilities or felt threatened by them. Like that somehow that has anything to do with how good the actual characters in question were at being an anti-hero as opposed to who their rival was.

Key words being at times. Of course Sasuke was jealous. At times. The roles of Vegeta and Kaiba are to, inevitably, try and fail so that the protagonist looks even better. Established in their first battles, against Freeza and Pegasus, against Cell and Marik, etc.
Aside from their roles, the characters themselves bore me. Vegeta had the backstory and potential to be a great character, but that fizzled out.

That's being a rival, not an anti hero.

you say "at times" like it somehow changes the fact that Sasuke envied Naruto just as much as Vegeta and Kaiba envied their respective rivals all the same. You gotta bring some better argument other than Vegeta and Kaiba bore you to support your argument about Sasuke being a better anti-hero than Vegeta and Kaiba.

For all of Sasuke's huffing and puffing about what he was going to throughout the story he ended up doing the exact opposite for the most part when it was all said and done. There was barely any depth to his character at all, other than spending the story pretending to be some kind of tough guy.
