This is definitely far-fetched, but what if Sasuke could summon cats? Remember when he visited Granny cat?
Sasuke or another Hebi member could have made a summoning contract with a giant cat off-panel (like nekomata, the evil giant cat in one filler episode). Just a thought *_*
