Why not? It sounds very Kishi to me. The audience gets to see an awesome fight, but in the end Naruto doesnt have to kill his friend.

It's not that. Just can't see Sasuke doing it like that, if he ever did.

the shotgun to the face was just a joke but if sasukes conscience ever comes back and thats a huge if. he is really going to hate himself and may possibly find that thats the only way he can cope with what he has done. i think taking your own life is horrible and im not condoning it but this manga has some real life lessons and experiences in it and thats 1 of them

I get what you're saying, pal, don't worry. I just have a different sort of miniture timeline in my head when I think of Sasuke commiting suicide. But yeah, it could happen. I just don't picture it quite like you said it.

look i see you like sasuke and i like him too. i think he makes the show tick he is naruto's rival and is a big part of naruto's resolve to get stonger. BUT him taking his own life is a huge possibility! i dont see Naruto just flat out murdering sasuke i see both characters having self conflicts during their fight and i could totally see sasuke pulling a punch.

No, Sasuke won't commit suicide I think. Most of others mentioned above committed suicide because they had no other option - they would have been killed anyway. Deidara and Danzo tried to include the opponents in the attempt but failed. Nagato had a change of heart and reversed his previous action, depleting his chakra to zero. He left his dreams to Naruto. White Fang killed himself in shame because he was condemned for his actions which was saving his fellow ninjas.

I can't see Sasuke attempting suicide. He is ready die in the battle. He once told Naruto that he would either kill Naruto or would be killed by Naruto. Naruto's reply was neither would happen. I think that is what is going to happen. One of Naruto's dreams is to save his friend.

I had some spare time to waste. That is why I wrote this. No offense. Just my opinion.

PS: I have no idea how Naruto is going to save Sasuke. May be Naruto would literally save him from death at the hands of somebody else. Or there would be some yet-unknown story that would make Sasuke change his mind.

i respect your opinion but i dont see any other way out for sasuke other than death and naruto wouldnt be able to bring himself to do it. there is no saving sasuke thats like saying bin laden could have been back on good terms with america. he HAD to die.
