Ok so this is actually gonna be a serious thread..
Nowadays I see a lot of ignorance on the internet. And sure I have a little fun on here when I say dumbshit but to an extent. Obviously we can't always be serious and we should all know when and how to joke around.
But lately I've seen a lot of ignorance. Police brutality is a serious issue in the United States right now. It's always been an issue but the big difference is, today we have things like social media ect.. technology has brought us together much more than we think. We live in a world that is no longer private lol. Everything is recorded and what not.
Now, the point of this thread is to point out how ignorant people in this world allow the media to control every single aspect of their minds. People allow the media to control how they think. Sure it's ok to watch the news and be in the "know" but some people take it too far. Yes, there is a lot of violence against black people right now. This has gone on for a very long time. But have you ever thought about other people who die at the hands of police officers? Innocent people?
Doesn't matter the color. This whole agenda has had me questioning from the very beginning. Again, I understand the situation. Black people feel scared. And that is understandable because I am a minority as well. I'm Latino and obviously I've had to deal with stuff like this before. But one thing I can say for sure is, a lot of people, not just black, put themselves in situations where they can be hurt. Especially with police officers. I know this first hand because when I was younger I put myself in a situation like that for simply being rude and I got arrested and taken to jail.
Ok, back to the reason I don't really like what's going on. The big focus is black people being killed. Which is horrible obviously. People shouldn't feel afraid with the people who are supposed to protect and serve them. And YES. Black lives do matter. All lives matter. I get the point. What I don't like is how the media portrays all of this.
Look around. Tell me you haven't heard a lot of racist shit lately. From both sides. Racism has been around for a long time, I know. But like I said it's different now because of the tech we have. All of this crap causes segregation and I hate it. People should drop all that ignorance and stand together. When people are going through something tough we should be there to help not bring down. Skin color doesn't mean shit at the end of the day we are all humans. We all bleed the same shit. It's just sad some people can't get there head out of their asses. Even the ones who think it's ok troll or joke about this. People are dying it's no f*cking joke.
Just felt like sharing my thoughts on this. I'm tired of seeing all this ignorance from people.
