Like others said, I don't think Sasuke is able to turn his new eyes on and off like Madara was able to. Though in theory he should, because he awakened the eye and that was the difference between Madara and Nagato. TBD what Kishimoto will do with the tailed beasts next. Previously the SO6P said they would be recombined into a new, better 10 tail. Let's see if Kishimoto forgets that, though.

They obviously both still have their powers, it is just a matter of Naruto being strong enough in base mode not to NEED the Rikudou mode activated to be powerful. Base Naruto is as powerful as Sasuke with Sharingan active, now that they have both "realized" their roles as Asura and Indra. Both NATURALLY have half the Rikudou's chakra now. That is not going to change. Why do you think the Rikudou still needed all the previous kage to bring back Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi? It is because his CHAKRA is still crazy low. If he could have removed their chakra, he would have. The fact is, since they have gained their roles as the successors of Asura and Indra, they will forever be on a field all to themselves.
