When it comes to Orochimaru anything is possible but this chapter was to present us with the future Sannin not hint at Sasuke not being Sasuke. When did Sakura learn her summon? We didn't see that either. Everyone just stopped acting like teens and became adults and now are beginning to show their true power. However, I don't trust Orochimaru one bit and assume he might take advantage of this battle eventually.
