Gaara has proven to be more smarter then sasuke in battle and has way better chakra and stamina then sasuke (sasuke couldn't handle A gaara onooki or Mei or Danzo for the matter) (gaara was able to take out 3 kages edo immortality infinite stamina and chakra and still fighting madara doing all this days straight without no breaks)

Gaara sand manage to block amatsaratsu (check amaterasu data it says it couldn't burn it didn't say Enton or blaze release it says Amaterasu) stop A from attacking
Caught the 3rd raikage (stronger then A) caught muu mizukage and his dad

Survived 5 susannos with legs so those things are faster and stronger then sasuke Susanno and are mobile and let's not forget he defended every kage exception of onooki from mokoton witch is an instant (I repeat instant) Forrest his sand speed is pretty epic not only for himself but for his teamates as well
If sasuke stayes in Susanno he will be buried underground like kimmi just tht sasuke Dnt have bone structure to survive*

Currently in my opinion sasuke and gaara is equal this recent manga chapter proved gaara has no problems fighting 5 mobile susannos and protecting Mei from her 5 susannos*

Onoki makes Gaara's sand light and thus Gaara can pull out Sasuke of his Susanoo. Tsundae broke Madara's Susanoo and Madara was forced to use a wood clone which Sasuke cannot use. And Madara was an edo but the kages were fighting him for 2 days.Sasuke's only chance would be perfect susanoo. And A can evade amaterasu.

What dude non of the kage can win 1 on 1 especially not garaa. First of all sasuke needs 2 b standing on sand 4 garaa to pull him out of susanoo. Sure he can fly but sasuke has a hawk to catch him n I'm pretty sure that hawk can fly faster then him. Sasuke can out run his sand n beat him in taijutsu. I'm not trying 2 make him look bad cuz I like garra but I'm just stating facts

Who says you have to be standing on sand for Gaara to use his sand.

1: Gaara has a fixed amount of chakra enriched sand in his gourd on his back.

2: Gaara VS Kimimaru. If I recall correctly they fought in an open grass field. Gaara not only used alot of sand, but he also enriched it with diamond to harden its defense and impact abilities.

3: Gaara was a Chinuuriki(however you spell that) despite the loss of his bijuu, his chakra reserve still seems to be in tact.

4: the sand in Gaara Gourd is super fast like Sasuke.

5: Gaara regardless of age is still a Kage

Not saying Gaara would win one on one, but Sasuke would definately have a challenging fight.

anyone and everyone that actually believes sasuke would have even a 5% chance of SURVIVING a fight with the 5 kages, let alone winning, is either a sasuke fanboy or just plain retarded. Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance, if he was almost killed, like what, 3 times by LONE kages acting INDIVIDUALLY with no help whatsoever from the other kage then he would die within like 15 minutes if he were to attempt taking them all on simultaneously. EMS or not he still has limitations to his chakra and his body won't regenerate in any way. if the 5 kages could over come fighting 25 separate susanoo madara clones then one little bitch would be easy pickings. At that period in time, Sasuke had yet to have the leisure of time to get accustomed his to eye(s) respective powers.
