I think sasuke's disrespectful attitude towards his former team added some drama and spice to the chapter. It shows that he still has a long way to go and I think it hints at a possible Naruto vs Sasuke battle later on. I really am glad that kishi drew those panels in. With that being said I can't wait for Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto to end up having so save him later on. I think kishi is setting it up for him to be knocked off of his pedestal and truly learn the importance of team work.
