[Theory] Sasuke sage mode

This is a small theory.

The sage of the six paths, most likely had sage mode.
I wouldnt be surprised if he taught sage mode to both his sons.

We have seen that an Uchiha, can handle sage mode.
Sasuke his body can handle curse seal mode 2, which is a type of sage mode,
due to it being based on Juugo's clan's power to absorb nature energy.

If Sasuke can handle sage mode, than I think the elder son could as well.

Now that Sasuke has EMS, I predict he will unlock a new sharingan power once he gains
full curse seal mode 2 again. Juugo isnt on the battlefield for nothing and
Sasuke has Juugo's flesh and chakra in his chest (from the time that
Killer Bee blew his chest off).

This new sharingan power will be the Elder son eyes and/or a new sharingan jutsu(s).

I wouldn't like sasuke to get SM, because he would have to train for it, otherwise it would be asspull. However, CM can be cool, but it will be weird to have it after losing it, but I don't know. I hope that he gets the elder son's eyes as one of his power ups, something new for a change.

I was thinking about this too that a new eye power up would bring something about to make him a factor in the fight against juubito again. Except i was joking about it 'sasuke screams and is mad because no sage mode and gets new eye power up'.

You presented something that could happen beause Jugo isn't doing anything he could very well be there for that

I'd like to bump this for the thought that Juugo might be able to help Sasuke form a natural-energy based attack.

Are there any longer threads with this theory? I've been wondering what role Juugo will play ever since he kept staring at Sasuke and getting all jelly that his bff has other bffs. Is Sasuke's will still Kimimaro's will and he follows it?

That would just seem too plot driven
Sasuke gaining a new Sharingan tech that happens to give him nature abilities or a curse seal during a battle with an enemy only effected by senjutsu

Maybe Oro will re-give him a curse seal, or he'll be able to draw nature energy by utilizing Juugo's DNA

I'll copy-paste something I have in other topics, for the sake of common sense:

- Sage Mode is the ability to gather and control Nature energy, and then and balance it with Spiritual and Physical Energy so the user can become a Sage.

- Senjutsu chakra is, of course, the chakra produced by a Sage Mode user.

- Natural Energy is the energy that is gathered from nature. This is because Senjutsu chakra also considers Spiritual Energy (Sasuke has plenty of this) and Physical Energy (Sasuke lacks this one because of the Sage Elder Son's bloodline).

- Curse Mark Mode is an ability that let the user control minimal quantity of nature energy, in an imperfect state. Of course I'm supposing Sasuke has a great chakra control since the start of part 2, he showed this feature with all Chidori's variations.

• Sasuke was able to awake Lvl 2 Curse Mark without losing consciousness
• Manga States that Curse Mark is the result of investigations of Juugo Clan's Ability
• Manga States that Juugo Clan's Ability resides in Ryuuchidou (Dragon's Cave)
• Manga States that Juugo Clan Members were not able to control Nature Energy, and as result they became berserk.
• Manga States that Physical Traits when manipulating Nature Energy is a sign of imperfection.

• So, it's easy to conclude that Sasuke did not reach perfect Curse Mark Mode (this ability control way lesser nature energy than Sage Mode), and the proof is that Sasuke couldn't get rid of his wings.
• If Sasuke couldn't control Curse Mark Mode at its full extent, it's impossible for him to reach Sage Mode in no time since Sage Mode uses even more Natural Energy.

And the final problem resides in Sage Mode using a balance of Natural, Spiritual and Physical Energy... The Younger son of the SO6P inherited more Physical Energy and Lesser Spiritual Energy, The Elder son of the SO6P inherited more Spiritual Energy and Lesser Phyiscal Energy, and the Uchiha Clan origin resides in the Elder Son, so the answer becomes straightforward... Sasuke has way too much Spiritual Energy to reach Sage Mode.

He would need a lot of years of training in order to fully control Nature Energy to the extent of being able to get rid of physical traits and learn Sage Mode.

Ergo... it's better to assume that Sasuke will have a powerup that fits him, Sage Mode is not original anymore, giving this to him would be an asspull given the facts.

So, let's get back to business...

The answer is no. I already stated the differences in my quoted points. Curse Mark and Juugo ability is only to gather natural energy, not control, not balance. Sage Mode implies control and balance too. Sasuke's physical traits (wings) is the proof of him not being able to fully control and balance nature energy with spiritual and physical energy, because being from the Elder Son's Bloodline, he has way too much spiritual energy compared to his physical energy.

Counter-part: Hashirama Senju. He has way too much physical energy compared to his spiritual energy, but he reached Sage Mode... why? Well, he had way more years to master the control and balance of each energies inside his body, Hashirama has way more experience and time for practicing Sage Mode.

Sasuke in the other hand just learned from Kabuto the existence of the Hermit Powers (Dragon Sage Mode), in other words... even being a prodigy, if he didn't get rid of his wings from the Curse Mark, then there is no way he can learn Sage Mode from nothingness, that would be a genuine asspull.

Thanks for the repost! You put forth a good argument as for why Sasuke can't attain sage mode.

What I want to know is what nature based attacks Sasuke might be able to pull off on Juubito.
-Either Sasuke can manipulate from another source (i.e. thunder clouds)
-Or Sasuke can be granted some chakras from someone else (Juugo, Naruto (though Naruto passing sage mode chakra can cause toad petrification... so iono))
Maybe that question is for another thread.

Handling curse mark is a matter of genetics. Handling sage mode is matter of chakra reserves and training. I don't think you can say if one person can have one, then they can have the other.
