Actually, there are many things sasuke got offscreen like the hawk and kirin.
Also, kabuto explained CM is like sage mode.

I don't really think sasuke has sage mode but anything is possible in naruto.

Meh. If Kishi did that I think that'd make the story line a bit repetitive. People now are even complaining that the story is repetitive. I think it would be an extremely cool idea if there was foreshadowing earlier in the manga about Sasuke obtaining sage power.

Don't know why everyone suddenly needs to have sage mode, I mean they say there's slug sage mode, snake sage mode, now hawk sage mode??? Although I do understand where your question is coming from, as Sasuke has been said to transform from a snake, to a hawk, but I thought that was metaphorical? Like Sasuke is no longer crawling on the ground and can take flight because he has found his true calling????

All we know for sure is that Sasuke took Summoning scrolls from Orochimaru, That He learn to summon Snakes and Hawks and maybe some other Animals, you do not need to be a Sage to summon, just have a contract.
