Sasuke returning to Konoha or not depends on who the man who knows everything is

I've been thinking about this, and i think that shippuden will end after the war arc (it seems fitting to end it here) and i think sasuke's choice on returning to konoha or not will depend on what the man who knows everything has to say. I don't think Naruto's words can reach sasuke anymore. The only way i can see Naruto getting through to him is if Sakura or Kakashi dies.

If the raikage survives he will demand sasuke's head on a spike, if konoha refuses it could start another war between them and so on. other villages wouldn't trust sasuke, most of the leaf won't trust sasuke.

How would Sakura´s death (or Kakashi´s) affect Sasuke in any way? Didn´t he try to KILL Sakura himself before Naruto saved her from a very CLEAR killing intent?

I think that after Naruto and Sasuke have their final fight, Sasuke will retreat and become a wandering ninja for the rest of his life.

Naruto has to survive this fight obviously, cause if he doesn't, then the series itself would be a fail in my opinion.
