I think it will depend on what happens on the battlefield. No doubt Naruto and Sakura will be trippin' ballz once they see him help them defeat Madara, but what happens after that.... who knows.

In my opinion Kakashi will probably try to play the teacher role again and somehow reunite them and make it a happy whole team 7 again. Something like that... but that's way in the end.

Maybe that is exactly what will happen? Maybe the village takes him back but on conditions of keeping ANBU in line and working with the village. I could see it happening because he killed danzo as well as previously having Itachi in there.
