Except that wasn't a 1 on 1, Kakashi needed it to be 4 on 1 just to figure out that their Kamui are connected and that was after a good long while. So Sasuke saw Kakashi just standing there doing nothing for 90% of the fight then finally do something in an act that would kill him by he gets saved by Obito who leaves him his power to make a last stand? Sasuke still did more in that fight than Kakashi overall and Naruto did more than both of them combined.

Giving his eye to the only 1 of the 3 with some experiences using doujutsu is a no brainer, you expect Naruto and Sakura to spent time get use to the eye and learn how to use it to break IT when it would take Kakashi less time due to his experiences using MS? Itachi already said Kakashi can't use the Sharingan as well as a true Uchiha and Kakashi himself called Itachi a true Uchiha; Sasuke was said to have stronger eyes than Itachi so there to go Sasuke>Itachi>Kakashi in Sharingan skills
