I don't think he can create an energy attack on par with a large-scale Bijuudama without borrowing power from the Bijuu, though. The only time Sasuke has clashed head-on with Naruto's Bijuudama was when Naruto was using a small-scale Bijuudama against Sasuke's Susano'o Chidori, or when Sasuke used Indra's Arrow (using Bijuu power). Normally, Sasuke's most powerful ranged attack is his Susano'o arrows, which aren't that powerful compared to a Bijuudama.

Eh, I don't think that mechanical upgrades can be formed purely from Susano'o's chakra. It needs a physical body to modify.

However, he could use Susano'o to armor his Ashura Path limbs! That'd be pretty badass, imo.
