This is a good rebuttal, but I'm not so sure. We've barely seen what Sasuke's Perfect Susanoo can do.
For example, we know that he can use it to clad Kurama in Susanoo armor. We know he can also spyphon chakra from any and all of the bijuu. Absorbing one of the bijuu chakra could alter his Susanoo's properties and block not only light but possibly sound as well.
Obviously this is just theory and not a feat we've seen.
But in all honesty, it's more likely he would break every and any genjutsu he his put under. His Rinnegan seems to see through like everything.
I don' t think Susano'o can stop sound, Itachi would have known that fact and have anhihilated Kabuto's genjutsu.

And if Susano'o stopped sound, I don' t think Sasuke would ear Naruto in that scan.

Susano'o is made of sinister chakra, it' s pure darkness, that' s why it stops light.
Sasuke should be able to break any genjutsu from an opponent weaker than Kaguya.If the opponent is stronger than Kaguya, he may not be able to break it.
