Both are good nin's (in term of skills) but I prefer naruto.
The whole shadow clone style, I don't know, it bugs most of the people but I like that fighting style =D

They are opposites but equal, what one lacks the other makes up for. I think Sasuke sometimes has the edge on versatility but Narutos getting there.

I agree, I like how Naruto took a move that is for spying and mastered it for fighting.

Naruto almost killed Sasuke with just a regular Rasengan without Kyuubi's help. If he uses Wind Rasengan or Rasenshuriken he would have really killed Sasuke.

It's hard to say who has more versatility. After all both of their arsenals half revolve around techniques that they learned years ago. Though excluding the Rasengan and Chidori variations, I think I'd have to say that Sasukes techniques vary more. Naruto hardly has any Long ranged techniques. Apart from Rasenshuriken and TBB all of his techniques are physical close quarters techniques.

This actually a very good question.

Because raw strength is somewhat exaggerated by the fandom in terms of who can win a fight. Versatility of ones arsenal, however, is a different story. I think Sasuke has the edge in terms of his intelligence (not that naruto is stupid), but Naruto is ever so slightly ahead with regards to his arsenal. The variations of SM, his rasengans, and his shadow clones coupled with BM as a finality gives him the very small edge imho.

But that being said, I need to see Sasuke's EMS's potential. Without BM and EMS, I'd say Naruto and Sasuke are honestly tied with regards to arsenal versatility. With those powerups Naruto takes the edge
