They both would become a good hokage but they are clearly different. Naruto would be more loving yet he has all the power and seriousness needed to protect the village and it's people. Sasuke would be more of a serious hokage obviously he has all the power needed and he has proven to us that he does have a heart. They'd both make a good leader.

No. Sasuke is very unstable. Once with the village the next moment he's trying to destroy the village. With him as Hokage, I dont think konoha relationships with other village will progress in a better direction.

It's really no contest; Naruto is a vastly superior option. He may not be so in tune with the paper work, but neither is Tsunade. And that's what assistants are for. The beauty of Naruto being Hokage is he won't be going it all alone. He'll have the support of the entire world behind him, cheering for him, and giving their all to see him through. He's stalwart in his resolve, cares about the people, and is a flat out better leader in every respect.

Sasuke lacks the mental fortitude needed for such a position, hes not empathetic and cannot sympathize with others, and he's shown time and time again to throw others under the bus if it means furthering his own agenda. These are not the qualities of a good leader unless you are running a gang or a terrorist organization. Go live under someone like Sasuke's rule for real and you'll change your mind real quick. Even Kiba would be a better Kage than him.

Not to mention the people wouldn't respect Sasuke as someone in power, let alone vote him to start with. He'd become a Danzo 2.0 and have to deal with a revolution on his hands within a week, wars spawning all across NV, and disarray at every turn.

Hashirama won the popularity poll, too, although that probably contributed to problems in the long run. When the sage asked Naruto how he wanted things to turn out, he did not say he wanted to be Hokage. I think that being accepted has always been more important to Naruto than being Hokage (in his mind those might have been equivalent.) I can't believe I'm saying this, but Sasuke would make a good Hokage, however only if he actually listens to Naruto's advice.
