Sasuke or Gaara?

Gaara's sand can easily block the black flames and Gaara's nature that he uses to actually move the sand is Wind. The sand can block the fire style of Sasuke and the wind style behind it can block his lightning style. The only thing Gaara should fear in my opinion are the Susanoo's arrow and Sasuke's genjutsu.

What do you guys think?

And really? Yeah Sasuke is a little overrated on here, so is Gaara but that doesn't mean to say that Gaara beats him. He has good counters to his techniques.

The sand would turn to glass. A glass 'sculpture' of that magnitude would be very pretty. Also, if it shattered, that'd be bad mmmkay.

And everywhere Gaara goes, his sand can grind up the terrain, giving him a geographical advantage almost anywhere. The way I see it, Sasuke's chances get simmer and slimmer.

It wasn't weak against it.. Itjust broke through it and that was just part 1 Gaara. Plus, Chidori isnt real lightning, so it would have more effect on sand. Real lightning (Kirin) wouldnt have as much effect.

But the sand won't let the fire touch him tbh. Though the fire can be directly ignited on Gaara, I doubt the sand would let it. The sand that he carries with him in the gourd protects him almost instantaneous. Amaterasu is fast, but not instant.
