It makes me sad to see just how much people simplify things more often than not... For example : people assume that Sasuke is weak now, that his EMS doesn't provide anything new, that he's a little girl or something ... and a few chapters from now, when Sasuke will be all strong and almost kill the protagonist of the manga, people will be like "omg plot no jutsu how lame i hate sasuke why does he have to be the strongest".
Honestly guys and girls ... just think : character progression/evolution is necessary in any fictional story. IF you've noticed Sasuke started with a hatred that couldn't be tamed. He then steadily but surely became more fond of his team until he decided to pursue his goal. He killed off all of his feelings and eventually killed Itachi. After learning the truth he just found out that it was only THEN when he lost everything, so up until that point he was lied and tricked into doing what he did. Everything is a spiral from that point onwards, as we see Sasuke fall deeper and deeper into this and obviously the deeper you get, the harder it is to come back up to the top. But right now, we see Sasuke finally listening to someone (Itachi) and finally dropping his guard. We get to see Sasuke being vulnerable. Please don't ruin that with your constant need to see a character over-powered.
