We just disagree. Itachi was sick but you are telling me he didn't fought at full power? He gave his best...The only one who wasn't at his best was Orochimaru,but I don't think a lot of people would easily get out of his demension. He faught them clearly not at his full power because before that he had too fight too many samurai's and Gaara and Raikage...Kabuto survived that fight because they couldn't kill him because of Edo Tensei...Yes ,Itachi did stop Kabuto with Izanami,but before that Sasuke was helping him not to be hit by Kabuto.

Maybe he gave his best but the fight could have gone another way if itachi wanted to end the battle quickly with the intent to kill, sasuke could have been dead. He barely fought gaara as he destroyed the pillars in order to escape. His only real fight in the summit was the raikage who almost killed him. Sasuke wouldn't have a big influence even with the intent to kill because as you could see, itachi wasn't a match for him. Sasuke could have died twice during this battle if it wasn't for itachi's susanoo.

But did he kill him? No. And you can hardly call fights on the summit real,since he only cared for Danzou,other people were just in the way and he didn't really want to fight them. The only thing that saved Itachi from Kirin was Susanoo
