I don't see them taking on Gai though. Especially since Sasuke doesn't have Orochimaru absorbed. Sasuke can be somewhat of a problem for Gai, but Gai seems a bit too much for them to handle so I'll just say they stop at 4.

C'mon man. Sasuke loses this one, sadly. Gai developed a fighting style to perfectly counter the Sharingan Genjutsu by looking at the Uchiha's feet. Genjutsu isn't going to take down Gai here.

This depends on whether Sasuke can use Kirin without the preparation time....if he can, then they clear the Gauntlet....unless someone is saying anyone of the team in the gauntlet can counter Kirin?

There's also summoning like Manda....if Kirin has preparation time, then they don't clear the gauntlet but still get far as 6 or 7 with the likes of Manda and Adoa.​
