Sasuke needs a Son.

I don't get why you guys think that the Uchiha name will die if he doesn't have a son.
Sarada's husband could his last name and their kids could have her last name.It's not a big deal.

One can take on the name of the wife. You dont have to take on the name of the husband.
Especially when royals or special femalies are involved, taking on the name of the wife is something that occurs.

So a son isnt needed to maintain the uchiha name.

If Naruto was from some random Joe clan, than Naruto and Hinata their children could easily take on the name of Hyuuga.

According to the spoilers, he only had a daughter. Sakura is the one who had a son with Suigetsu.

And I'm sure that her husband won't mind taking the name of an Uchiha. But when you really think about it, how much value does the Uchiha name have without the Sharingan?

People have gotten things confused and started lying to themselves. So let me write a sumamry from both sides of Naruto & Sasuke. Sasuke needs a son, yes. Though do not listen to "Scrafty's" comment. The reason Sasuke turned around was because of his daughter was talking about him, notice the last panel. That was pretty much common sense right there, think back to in anime when someone is talking about another person and they sneeze. Now add the shinobi world, same difference. Next the most highly possability for Sasuke not obtaining a son is because of the "brothers fued" ending. If Sasuke had a son, then he might of become rivals with Buruto and then who knows what could of happened. The most logical understanding for this reason, is for one incarinate to have a son, while the other has a daughter. Another theory to that is the reason for Sarada *stalking* Bolt, she has a strange liking or understanding of him that the other shinobi(s) don't understand. Because their fathers are away, yes, but think deeper. They are the son and daughter of a long relationship of hate, and now they are the new generation of love. They are literally the embodiment of love and peace between the brothers fued. Next is on why Sarada will gain or not gain the Sharingan. She would need a best friend firstly, and she would have to experience a pain, but not just any pain. The pain that comes from love. Which in this time is again highly unlikely. Though if Sasuke were to die and Sarada broke into that coffin ...just playing. Anyway we can't be sure if she will but I can guarantee a fifty - fifty percent chance of her getting it, or her not getting it. Next is Naruto's children. (Going to shorten this because I wrote a lot) They are freaks of nature because we have never seen an Uzuamki (Strong body) breed with a Hyuuga (Strong eyes/powerful doujutsu) clan before. So to say Bolt and Himawari Uzumaki aren't capable of activating the Byakugan is not 100% true. We cannot say for certain if the Byakugan has mutated or yet, changed because these children are not 100% Hyuuga linage. They are 50%, not to mention Minato's legacy. Right now they are the first children to interbreed between a strong body and powerful eyes. The closest we got was Uzumaki + Senju (Hashirama and Mito) and even Tsunade is mid-level hack. So these children will indeed be incredible, but sadly Naruto's generation was the strongest, and because they had to deal with the war, akatsuki, and so forth they experienced a small portion of Hashirama's generation of wars. But the last generation whether they face incoming threats or not, will determine the overall severity of each character's growth. (Story clue: The Ino-Shika-Cho team would not arrive for practice, hence, Kishimoto's way of saying they might not need it...) ​
