Naruto was playing fair by only using very little bijuu chakra whereas Sasuke used nearly the full amount of all 9.


Yet, Sasuke only cancelled out? Even though he was the equivilent of a Juubi Jin?

This shows that if Sasuke hadn't absorbed the Bijuu, he would have lost this clash.


This also explains why Naruto held his own against Kaguya while Sasuke couldn't.

It all makes sense now.

This also proves that Sasuke didn't have Senjutsu chakra given by Hagoromo at all.

basically, sasuke had just gotten 2 sets of power-ups and still lost to naruto. people are mistaken as to what actually makes naruto strong. sure, before that rikudo power-up it was mostly kurama's chakra. after the power-up however, it seems that that wasn't the case. many assumed that the senjutsuj of the six paths is the combination of all the tailed beast chakra, which you can make a case that that's the case, but no. senjutsu of the six paths seems, for naruto, seems to be his already perfected sage mode tweaked to the highest degree. now bijuu chakra does allow him to access more of natures energy because of the whole balance thing, but still. that's why sasuke's gaining all that bijuu chakra was easily countered by naruto's senjutsu chakra.

Every single time Bijuu power has been used against Senjutsu they have cancelled each other out, this goes back to part 1. This time there was merely more of it, all natural energy of the Earth's surface was used by Naruto and all 9 bijuu were used by Sasuke. The Heaven and Earth motif used at the beginning of the chapter was conveying this.

No one lost yet, they are both still alive. Naruto's attack and Sasuke's attack cancelled each other out. They are equal guys. Stop with Naruto needs this power to do this and Sasuke needs tailed beast power to keep up. This is almost the end. It doesn't matter who needed what anymore. They are equal in power. It will be strategy and tactics that wins.

It's possible that Sasuke will just about kill Naruto and while he is dying Sasuke realizes instead of being happy that he can go ahead with his plan, the impact of actually killing Naruto hits him and he regrets it. He feels as badly as he did when Obito told him everything Itachi did for him and the village and he knew he killed him. This time he can't blame the system he can only blame himself. He realizes that not only was Naruto the closest thing to a friend he ever had but due to Indra's chakra he also feels like he is a brother

Maybe Naruto can heal himself like he did Guy and Kakashi's eye but he truly needs to make Sasuke realize the import of what he's done and be sure he regrets it before he does. Or the point of showing Sakura and Kakashi was that she will get there in time to heal Naruto. But either way almost killing Naruto is what changes Sasuke from his chosen path. TNJ would not be a lasting change like it wasn't with Madara. He realizes he's happy that he didn't kill Naruto and maybe he's willing to let some people into his life. That will be the only way to banish Indra and Ashura for good.

It's no secret Naruto has more raw power than Sasuke, it's not even a point worth bringing up other than to start flame wars. So of course Sasuke needed a power up to go head to head w/ Naruto, but the attack itself was obviously stronger than Naruto's for if they were equal, Naruto's would have won thanks to the elemental edge.

OT. and naruto needed that bijju power to cancel with pretty much everyone and hang with or stay ahead of sasuke, your point? it can be said for both so dont single out sasuke. instead appreciate the fight those two boys gave us.

Nice fanfic, but as naruto was going to get chakra from his buddy to help him fight, sasuke went and stole it, and beat him to the ground like a boss.
