Sasuke=Naruto (Not a debate thread)

I like both characters and narutos my favorite with sasuke at second but in the new boruto trailer boruto asks sasuke how he surpassed naruto. So this must mean sasuke is currently stronger than naruto. Idk how kishi could do that to his main character but it is what it is by now I'm starting not to care.

There were two translations. The other one had boruto saying " How did father endure these struggles" with sasuke saying "ask him yourself"

I don't care about a 30 second clip of a 2 hr movie. If Sasuke is indeed stronger than good, Im happy for him. But most likely theyre still equal. Everyone's getting too riled up over 3 sentences in a trailer.

This thread came from a genuine place. I'm not going to bash either character. Through the manga, its always been a race they were both winning at in certain areas. Im baffled to see how the only thing you people managed to pick up is the pat about strength.

Sasuke has the most realistic understanding on how the world works. Naruto is still a Naive child that believe's anything he spits from his mouth is how it should go, but life doesn't work that way. Only good thing about Naruto is his determination everything everything else is laughable (should i need to remind you about the coolest guy?). Which brings me to say this manga is a shonen that's the only reason why Naruto got his way.

Naruto promised Itachi he wouldn't be known as the guy that killed Sasuke. And then what about what happened after Hagaromo left it up to them? When Sasuke turned on Naruto and tried to kill him?

Yes, I agree. But people must realize a few things...

From a battle perspective, Sasuke is stronger power wise only, but the result will always be Naruto = Sasuke. Naruto = Sasuke is still valid. Sasuke is stronger because although Sasuke's raw physical power is around equal to Naruto (both Naruto and Sasuke have counters to each other's jutsus), Sasuke has other advantages, his versatility being his strongest weapon, Six Paths techniques are a bonus, plus the abilities of the Rinne Sharingan. Sasuke just has so much up his sleeves. And can do so much more than just counter Naruto with a similar caliber jutsu. Plus, his jutsus can be created quickly because Sasuke's chakra is powerful but Naruto needs to combine his chakra with Senjutsu to achieve similar power which takes time in some cases. The thing is Sasuke may be stronger but physical power ain't everything, the power of love and cooperation, and will power is just as valuable in a fight. That's why Naruto = Sasuke always.

The convo doesn't need to go further then. They've always been equal whether its been said directly or foreshadowed. I think VOTE 2 Naruto was better than Sasuke but Sasuke is showing in Gaiden then he's more skilled. It's always a race theyre both winning at in different areas.

In the trailer, there was a translation where Bolt asked Sasuke how he surpassed Naruto. I'm not sure if the subtitles were even official but it means little to nothing.

Edit - The world will only advance when we as people show each other love and respect. Naruto's ideal is exactly that. Just because he want's to achieve peace doesn't mean he will, but that should be everyones focus.
