Sasuke might not get Rinnegan

You have to have chakra from Ashura and Indra to get the rinnegan. Sasuke got chakra from Hashirama, but Hashirama is dead. So that means that Ashura already transmigrated to Naruto, which means that Ashura's chakra is no longer associated with Hashirama. Wouldn't Sasuke have to get Naruto's chakra to get the rinnegan instead of Hashirama's?

I think hashirama's cells might still be connected to Ashura's chakra and Kabuto put some of the cells he had from Hashirama into Sauske when he was still close to death but if Hashirama cells dosen't link then he might not. Good theory though.

Sasuke got power directly from Hagoromo, there's no need to mix Ashura's chakra with Indra's chakra, because all that does is give you Hagoromo's chakra, which was directly given to him, and Naruto as well.

I hoped that he wouldn't get the rinnegan because it's so played out, but the evidence stacks up against him not getting it.

- Naruto shared some of his Kyuubi chakra with him, which might have had Naruto's own (and Ashura's) chakra mixed with it.
- Hashirama already gave him his remaining chakra (albeit, he was an edo tensei)
- Kabuto inserted Hashirama's DNA which was from when Hashirama was alive, which would have contained Ashura's chakra.
- The sage is about to share some of his power with Sasuke, if it's not rinnegan, then what else could it be? I hoped it would be the Juubi eye, but the sage doesn't have that eye, so then he couldn't give it to Sasuke.

I think it could go either way. Also at the people talking about chakra and what is and isn't possible... Stop it. Literally none of the shit you're discussing about indra/ashuras chakra has been confirmed. So don't talk about it like it is.

I think it would make more sense for Sasuke to get a stronger version of the Sharingan since he's supposed to be the pure Uchiha, while Madara is some luny who tried to mimic the sage.

Rinnegan is result of mixing both indra and ashura into one being, that being the sage. Considering the sage gave power to both Naruto and Sasuke, it is unlikely that Sasuke will recieve the Rinnegan as that would mean Naruto would recieve it aswell. The sage most likely just unlocked the power already dwelling inside Naruto and Sasuke, that being Indra and Ashura's power. Just think of a faucet where it's only slightly open and water is slowly pouring out, the sage fully opened this faucet and now the water is rushing out.
