I don't think there's anything wrong with that. His emotions are what makes him a good character imo.

Also, to be fair everyone in this manga gets inexplicable power through their will.

I think the thing with Sasuke's eye is that he can regenerate it. I know people say kishi doesn't have the time to draw all 9. But what if when he has 7 to 9 tomoes his eye becomes red and he is in his prime. And under 7 it Will be purple Like an ordinary rinnegan.
