That's what I don't get. Especially Sasuke is one character, who invented or awoke most of his Jutsu alone without any help.
Chidori Eisō, Nagashi, Senbōn, Kirin-an S-Class Jutsu- he invented them on his own. Orochimaru admitted it.
Contrary to Itachi, Sasuke did many things on his own. He mastered the Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan in a blink of an eye. Itachi on the other hand has been promoted by the Uchiha-Clan and Obito Uchiha for many years. Obito has been (probably) also the one who taught him the Uchihas Kinjutsu.
