Mei used her bodyguard to get him there, plus he was tired from the raikage fight. Hokage can't even fight alone. They are the chosen ones of their village and needed other hokage + chosen body guards+ samuri just to fight on par with the Sauce.

Sasuke didn't get saved by obito. He got set up by obito.



Mei and oonoki both used their bodyguards. Mei's bodyguard put Sasuke in position to be trapped. While Onnoki's bodyguard helped him escape from zetsu and procceed to sneak up on Sasuke. Danzo used bodyguards to prep Izanagi. Danzo used Karin to save himself but failed because Sasuke is a ****ing boss.
