[Theory] Sasuke limits Naruto's progression.

There are many theories surrounding Naruto's next power-up & many seem to believe that it will revolve around Naruto becoming the second Sage of the Six Paths, but I believe Sasuke's progression in the story prevents Naruto's next boost in power from being so drastic. We all know; Kishimoto has been setting up a Naruto vs Sasuke battle for the climax of the story since the early chapters in the manga (in which one of them will die) & if Naruto were to gain an upgrade of such magnitude before this final battle; Sasuke would logically stand no chance, thus I imagine the only upgrade Naruto will receive before the end of this arc is the other half of Kurama's chakra & "that" jutsu that Minato left for him to finish, with Sasuke receiving an upgrade as well (perhaps the evolution of his EMS into the dojutsu of the Eldest Son of the Sage; or even the Rinnegan), thus setting the stage for their final battle to end the manga, perhaps after this batlle; Naruto may gain Sasuke's eyes & thus truly becomes the heir to the Sage, but who knows anything is possible.

Sasuke is the only reason why Naruto continues to progress and get stronger. And no, anything is not possible. Naruto will not receive Sasuke's eyes. Why would he want to see the world through hate filled eyes when that's what he's already overcome his hate. Just because you're an heir to something doesn't mean you have to possess everything that the last person had i.e personality, strength, intelligence, perception, etc...

1.) "That" jutsu is the one referred to by Jiraiya in a conversation with a Gerotora; the Scroll toad before he fought Pain.

2.) I mean limit; as in Sasuke's progression needs to match Naruto's & limits him from becoming too strong , otherwise Sasuke will not logically be able to compete, for example if Naruto would become the host of the Juubi & thus a 2nd Sage with unlimited power & the ability to create life at will, Sasuke would stand no chance as he is now.

3.) I am not Kishimoto nor or you, so we cannot speak on any of his characters as if our opinions are fact; thus anything is possible.

I totally agree with your theory it would be way to much and impossible for Sasuke to even lay a finger on Naruto with that major power boost. I also agree that his next possible power up would be Kurama's missing chakara and i think that would be what he needs to finally fuse the Bijuu chakara with his Sage mode..I have a theory that fusion might be what either weakens the Jubbi or Madara if Hashirama doesn't beat him.

You are forgetting that last Kishi interview Kishi has stated Naruto is not yet reach His ultimate power. Naruto will get the power of all the tail beast and for now sines we do not know the name of that mode, I shall call it Divine Mode or SO6P Mode. Kishi has not put no restriction on Naruto's power so why would you? Part of changing Sasuke and the hole Ninja system is to go beyond it and created a new way at looking at things, replacing it with a new way.

If Naruto would gain power that is nigh divine too soon it would ruin the climatic battle between him & Sasuke that Kishimoto has been clearly setting up since the beginning of the manga, I am not saying that Naruto will never receive a power-boost of such magnitude, what I am saying is that it won't until after or possibly during his battle with Sasuke to end the manga.shodaimeicon:

That can be possible but Kishi stated in his interview that sasuke and Naruto will meet once on the battlefield. So there's still something big left for both of them to face each other.

He is the descendent of the elder son of the So6p so he is essentially as powerful as he's ever going to get. However, that does not mean he can't gain more control of his power and use it in new and inventive ways.

Everyone seems to think that Naruto is going to get another power up, I however think he's going to lose all that power from Karuma! How you say? Something will happen that will force Karuma either back to the jubbi, or leave the world completely so they can't be used by humans anymore. This will However leave Naruto with sage mode. Which gives him powerful physical chakra and the sages body. Now poeple think that Sage mode is not as powerful as EMS because its limited to how much nature energy you bring in. Yes i agree, but we all know Naruto is stubborn as all hell, so he will figure out a way to absorb and fight at the same time.(this is speculation, but it seems to make the most sense.) This is Naruto's will.

Good theory, I would love a twist like that, as I am a fan of Naruto as a character, I have never liked characters who leach off others to become powerful, thus I do not like how he has acquired most of his power from an external source that is a separate entity from himself.shodaimeicon:
