Sasuke Kirin was really not used much

It was pretty badass, but there aren't many chances allowing him to use the technique. Plus, using it would lose that effect.

Kirin is an old school advantage. It doesn't really live up to the same expectations it did years ago when it was first introduced.

Right now the strongest characters would just tank it, or regenerate from it itself. Not to mention the prep time.

Though I did see some interesting theories that Sasuke could activate a chakra version of Kirin, but I guess that in itself is a mystery too.

Lol why would they need sensory abilities or sage mode when a freken unatural collection of lightning which ultimately turns into a dragon is bein formed above them??? The dragon then ascends into the clouds then descends on its target , plenty of time to counter that shit bruh.


Now takin that into account am hopin u see that each and every kage has in their inventory a ability to counter kirin , even gaara.

Sasuke has the element of surprise which is the important factor. It was because of the element of surprise that white zetsu was able to catch the kage off guard and absorb their chakra. Under regular circumstances, white zetsu would not have been able to pull this off. The kage would not be able to look at the sky if they are still having their conversation inside the summit building.

Shame since its really epic looking although it needs prep and wouldnt work effectively against top tiers. Sasuke can do alot more damage than Kirin can in a fraction of the time anyway.

He used Amaterasu against Naruto after the Chidori fizzled, which is why I said he should have used it on the trees instead.

It would of been cool seeing a Rinnengan user try to absorb Kirin, whether the user success or fail in absorbing it, the result would of been interesting.

After they fell from the Sky. He activated it on Naruto, and Naruto activated the Kyuubi's chakra to shield himself.

That's what I thought. After they fell out of the sky, and he used Ama he was only able to perform Chidori, then both were fighting in base. He definitely didn't have enough chakra for Kirin.

Using Kirin doesn't require any chakra, the chakra is only required to set up the requirement to do Kirin. When the storm and cloud is ready then Kirin can be used with 0 chakra.

If anything the chakra usage is very minimal and the short fizzle of chidori Sasuke tried to perfom during Vote 2 would have been enough for Kirin.

Sharingan's chakra drain on Uchiha's is minimal, but you know me and him were arguing that Kirin requires "no chakra" lulz. Forgot Sasuke was using his own chakra to supress the Curse seal too.

Actually yeah your right, if he had enough to use Chidori whih uses a lot of chakra. (Didnt last long though) than he had enough for Kirin which costs less.
