People say that Madara and Uchiha are powerful....but they forget that Madara was defeated by Hashi....whole uchiha clan was destroyed because of hatred....Itachi himself admit that he failed.....True power comes when one tries to protect someone important.....Sasuke on the other hand thinks that one can get stronger if he breaks the bond....he is following the path of revenge and hatred....I don't think he would end as he expects.....Naruto follows the path of love and friendship.....I think Sasuke would never surpass Naruto if he continues to follow the wrong path.....

You have to realize that Hashirama was also powerful. Being weaker than the First Hokage does not essential make you weak.
