Does this mean he doesn't have the ability to downgrade his Rinnegan back to his regular eye or EMS? That would mean no more Amaterasu for Sasuke.

According to Obito, Rinnengan takes a lot of chakra, so it's possible closing his eye is to conserve chakra(in case he can't deactivate it). Or his swapping jutsu has a time limit like Izanagi and the eye close itself after a certain time usage. Either way we'll know with time

He was hiding it from Madara because Madara was using Kamui and could appear out of nowhere like he did with Kakashi (I know he didn't have Kamui then. Don't bother). I'm still waiting on Sasuke to combine his EMS with the Juubi Rinnegan just like Naruto's BM-SM combo. That's going to be epic, especially once we see his new susanoo.

I also want to see Sasuke to possess the Juubi after Madara is down and he and Naruto split the God Fruit. Just imagine.
