Sasuke is so selfish

All i have seen from sasuke is hatred. He is only pertaining to his Goals. He so far hasnt helped anyone. He always Gets his butt kicked, he cant do anything without help. Even after the battle with itachi he was beat up, and Itachi was dieing!
Also Everything he does is about revenge and him self, he wants to destroy konoha, he killed danzo, geeze what is he going to do next.

So? If I was in his position, I would be seeking revenge. Naruto isn't a black & white story. The lines between what's right and wrong isn't so clear. Sasuke just wants justice for his family, nothing more, nothing less. What you see as "selfish" may be justified and seen a right to someone else. Sasuke doesn't owe anything to naruto, or konoha. He's not their property, or their slave. If he doesn't want to return, then leave him the hell alone. That's my view on the whole thing.

Also, Itacho's will is not sasuke's. Sasuke doesn't do whatever everyone tell him to. Just because itachi sacrificed himself for konoha doesn't mean should see that as so. Ok, itachi died for konoha, itachi even tried to hide the truth from sasuke because he knew if sasuke learned the truth, he would try to harm the village. That itself tells me that the leaf village shares some fault.

If you consider what he's been through and what he knows he has to do, he's not even close to being selfish. He's just going about it in the wrong way, pretty much falling in Itachi's footsteps in my opinion. I don't care for him, but I can't accuse him of being something he's not in my eyes.

Who cares? The OP said so far he's never helped anyone, which he has. So I was correcting his mistake. Oh, and he saved Karin when she got hit by Amaterasu, when the Gyuki hit her. He could've ran, but he stayed and extinguished the flames. Yes, he later tried killing her but he still saved her.

Come on guys, lets not take this whole destroying konoha thing seriously. Lets drop a few facts:

1) Orochimaru had help from the sand village, the one tails AND he was extremely strong, yet he still failed to destroy konoha.
2) Sasuke was only able to beat Orochimaru because Orochimaru couldnt use his arms and was sick and stuck in bed, and even then he barely managed to do it and technically didnt even beat him. And yet he plans on beating Konoha by himself?
3) He barely survived the 5 Kage summit and would have lost to Danzo if it was not for Karin.
4) Konoha has Kakashi, Gai, all of the gennin and chunnin, Tsunade, Naruto, and the Clans.

Why is he so confident that he can destroy konoha, especially given that he guy either loses almost every fight he engages in and when he wins it is by the skin of his teeth and with the help of others.

He wasn't selfish at first but at the moment he is very selfish, he was willing to kill Karin to kill Danzo and is willing to destory Konoha despite Itachi's wishes (and Itachi is the one that he wants to avenge the most).

Firstly Sasuke never gets his butt kicked. Against deidara he didnt kil im because he wanted info on itachi so he didnt speed blitz kill him like he tried obito it would have been over if he did but he wanted info so he avoided killing deidara. Secondly he raped team 7 that includes sakura, naruto, sai and captain yamamoto. Exceed itachi's expectation in that fight. Danzo was at full health and sasuke still put that ass whoopin on him after battling the 5 kages and regaining a lil bit of chakra back before the fight. The killer bee arc wasn't a fight he was sent to capture be not kill him and he stated hes not at full health after the battle with itachi. Don't disrespect chars you know little to no knowledge on. He's not selfish if so, naruto would have died against haku, sakura, lee and naruto would have died in chuuin forst exams against the sound ninjas, not to mention the episodes where his team would be in trouble and he puts his life on the line. and he stated he wont kill anyone from konoha until him and naruto fight he made naruto a promise after killing danzo. Yes he wants revenge for what they made itachi do and for the name of his clan but how is that selfish after what hes been through? What hasn't he done on his own? clearly he's one of the best 1v1 people in naruto when has naruto had a 1v1 fight no intel and win? don''t worry ill wait....Don't forget he's part hero he helped stop edo tensei
