On the other hand, Sasuke Uchiha was blessed with the sharingan. If you look at his current state he's pretty much a demi god. He would never be there if it weren't for others around him. But if you notice something you'll notice how Sasuke treats the people who gave him the powers he now possesses.

OT: Sasuke was not that selfish in Part 1. When Sakura got hurt by Gaara's Sand grip he told Naruto to protect her because she was a close commrade of his.
