Both Indra and Ashura got physical and spiritual traits from their father.

Indra got Hagoromo's strength and spiritual energy.

Ashura got Hagoromo's longevity and stamina.

The meaning of all this is:

"His strength" means he got a physically stronger body.

"His spiritual energy" means he got stronger chakra.

"His longevity" means he got a strong life force.

"His stamina" means he got a lot of chakra.

To understand it more look at this:

The Creation of All Things Technique was a technique possessed by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, who used it to create the nine tailed beasts. The process he used is explained to have initially involved the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create physical forms from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the resulting creations.

Everything makes perfect sense like this, Naruto can regenerate without changing the shape of his body bot Sasuke is Yin and born with a good shape.

Also it says in Boruto the movie that Sasuke has muscles made out of steel but it says nothing about Naruto when it comes to strength.

Naruto like Ashura has the compete physical package of the sages body while Sasuke and Indra only inherited a portion so it would make sense that Naruto's physicality is greater then Sasukes but that's only my take.. I could be wrong..

Wrong, Sasuke inherited the strong chakra, physical attributes are Ashura's traits. Large chakra pool, physical strength and extreme stamina are all associated with the Sage's body which Naruto currently has.
