Sasuke on the other hand has been traveling the world to learn the secrets of Kaguya. When you travel the world you learn new things, which is exactly what Sasuke is doing. In less than one day Sasuke became a better rinnegan user than Nagato. He now has years of experience with it, and may very well know all of its secrets via his Kaguya research. The point is, Sasuke is most likely the most powerful character as of now if he wasn't already.
