That is very true, Sasuke is in no way like that. He does portray this self-centered view of the world. Not only does he think he should bare all "hatred in the world" but he has taken to the next level by committing actions against humanity. That makes him more despicable that the likes of even Madara, because even he on the verge of his death had the audacity to see his errors and the fact that he took his ideologies to the extreme. He truly cared for those around him in a unconventional way. So yeah those are my two cents, for what its worth.

Willingly let himself fall under Babadi's spell to gain more power. Mentioned several times he doesn't care if Maijin Buu is revived, as long as he and Goku fight to their fullest. Even after being warned that Buu will cause the utter destruction of the Universe if left unchecked. Killed literal innocents to provoke Goku into fighting.

All a good eight to nine years after Namek. He wasn't always so reliable.

But ultimately he ended up as a comrade in arms against Buu,but look at Sasuke's flip-flop characterization, this final fight only serves as a reminder of how sloppily written Sasuke is.

OT: I haven't watched Dragon Ball, and i don't even know who Hiei is, but he's definitely different from Noctis, and i really hate that comparison as well. I guess you can say i partially agree with you.

He might. But there's literally no redemption for him at this point in the story. He would have to sacrifice himself to defeat whoever that guy in the movie is, and we all know he wouldn't do that
