The ninja system in the NV needs to be reformed. Even Nagato and Itachi acknowledged that, as did Kakashi. Naruto wants to keep the current status quo and defend the Sage's world. Sasuke is right for the wrong reasons, but Naruto is wrong for the right reasons. Sasuke will win the fight, Naruto will win the battle because Sasuke will decide in the end to be less severe.

That's probably y Naruto is going to sympathize with what Sasuke wants. (not the whole Hokage/bijuu thing though) IMO Hiruzen could have supported Danzo's dream of united the world and would have helped him do things in a moral way, but Hiruzen left all the dirty work to Danzo so what happened happened
