No, throughout the fight Sasuke was saying why is Naruto not dead yet or how could he still get up so Sasuke wants to kill Naruto as he stated himself. If Sasuke wanted people to be in peace then he wouldnt have captured the Bijuus, say he's going to kill the Kage's, say he's going to kill Naruto then proceed in trying to kill Naruto.
