Sasuke was being more logical then egotistical when he shut down those fodders. Talking to them is a waste of time, the battle against Madara can only be comprehended by gods. Wtf would sakura nd kakashi be able to do..

It's not so much insecurity, as it's more about his dual superiority-inferiority complex. When Sasuke is superior, he talks down to people, degrading their usefulness. When he is inferior, he gets extremely angry and vows to get stronger (Like when Naruto's Rasengan had more destructive power on the hospital roof).

I think he was stating facts. It may sound uncaring to others but that has always been his approach to almost everything.

He does have superiority complex, especially proud of his roots and undermining everyone he deemed a lesser being. But underlying all that superiority complex is a guy who was insecure of his rival, confused teenager involved with a chronic brother-love-hate complex with Itachi. Fugaku's lack of appreciation and recognition that he longed for when he was younger has also contributed to that.

Him sounding blunt and superior, it's what he grew up to and got used to compensating for his insecurities and hardships, so he wears a well-guarded mask for that delicate ego and a fluctuating self-esteem.

I thought we've always wanted an analytical and critical thinker Sasuke. His mind is pretty clear atm, this is him at his tactical best. It may have been harsh, but it's still the truth.

But no, I don't think he's a troll. He's complex, but not a troll.
