Don't think it works like that. Itach is Itachi, sasuke is sasuke, casting a jutsu on one brain doesn't make it effect someone else regardless of eyes

No it just reacted to his eyes, like a trigger. It doesn't generally cast on the eyes

That's not how it works. Itachi had inteded for KA to activate if Naruto saw Itachi's Eyes, which would be Sasuke's EMS. Naruto didn't see Sasuke with EMS until after he had already seen Itachi.

Sasuke wasn't affected because OBVIOUSLY HE WOULDN'T BE AFFECTED BY A GENJUTSU HE WAS NEVER EXPOSED TOO.


Actually, he only started wanting to be Hokage after Itachi got KA'd, so it's not entirely impossible that he was affected. He wasn't, of course.

If Naruto faced Sasuke, when he had EMS it would've worked. He isn't immune.
